Inoperative Mouse

Posted: 07-06-2003, 01:53 PM
I upgraded a Gateway 450 from 98 to XP. Everything went
well except the mouse won't budge. Sounds like a driver
problem but how do you navigate to reload drivers without
the mouse? And why didn't XP have a driver for a common
mouse? Unfortunately I am not at that computer now and
would have to phone instructions to my son. Any help or
suggestions would be appreciated. Jean.
