Installation Problem RC1

Posted: 11-04-2006, 10:36 AM
Since someone spammed my previous question, i want to ask again. When i
install windows Vista RC1, i doesn't go further than Expanding Files 47%
My specs are:
AMD Athlon XP 2400+
Asrock K7S8X
512 MB DDR PC333
1x Western Digital 80 GB IDE
1x Maxtor 80 GB IDE
1x Maxtor 250 GB SATA
SATA RAID Controller

I have burned the .ISO file with Alcohol 120% to a DVD with a speed of
2.3x(lowest possible.) I am trying to install Vista on a IDE disk with 20 gb
of free space. The upgrade advisor told me that it could run on my pc. I am
performing a Custom install on a harddisk wich doesn't have a previous
version of Windows installed

Personally, I would try with a larger partition, at least 40gb.
