Installation Problems for USB Storage Device

I am trying to get my Jumpdrive USB Storage Device to
work. It has a "Designed for Windows XP" logo, but the
device driver is not installed. When I attempt to
install the driver, it says it has not passed Windows XP
logo testing. What can I do to get this to work. The
manufacturer sent me a system file that they said "fixes"
the problem, but it doesn't. They now say it is a
problem with WinXP but I can't seem to find anyone who
knows anything about this! Any suggestions?
