installed xp and vista beta on same partition

any way I can salvage my XP, currently the dual boot does not boot XP however
there is still a windows.old folder in my C drive with my original WINDOWS
and DOCUMENTS AND SETTINGS and PROGRAM FILES folders

Nope, its a goner, you have to reinstall XP.
