Installing ATI Driver

After reinstalling Windows XP Home Edition on my PC, I
have run into a problem trying to install my ATI driver.
When I try to install my ATI (Sapphire) driver, I get
this message, "Setup was unable to complete the
installation. Try to setup your display adapter with a
standard VGA driver before running setup".

Does anyone know how I can go about setting up my display
adapter with a standard VGA driver?
