Installing Movie Maker 2

Posted: 05-19-2004, 08:27 AM
I keep having this problem when I attempt to install MM2,
it gives me the error message "Internal Error 2755. 1601"
then it tells me where a file is located on my PC. I've
looked and saw the file but it doesn't really tell me how
to correct this problem. I've tried re-installing XP to
see if that was it, but that didn't work. I also tried un-
installing the Movie Maker and starting from scratch but
that doesn't work either. If anyone knows how to fix this
error please let me know. I'm going sick over here
without being able to add my transitions and titles to my
movies... LOL

Either e-mail me at my aol addy (AERhodesJr@aol.com)
or at my hotmail addy (strypez75@hotmail.com)

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!

Hello,

I might have found your solution. Take a look at this url

http://www.mcse.ms/message479159.html

I appreciate that on first glance its not using either your OS or Movie
Maker. But, it is running the windows Installer and as I understand your
comments, its there that the error occurs. The solution offered seems good
and is worth a look if nothing else.

Best Wishes.....John Kelly
