Installing Printers

Posted: 01-06-2004, 04:39 PM
Everytime I try to install either network or local
printers on my XP Pro I get an an error message pointing
to the ModName: msvcrt.dll. Has anyone experienced this
before? The error points to AppName: explorer.exe. I
think it is a problem with Internet Explorer Vers. 6.
Can't find any info on this issue hope you guys can help.

Is there any way to install a printer on a XP machine in
order to be available to all users.

I am noticing that when I install a printer with one user,
another user cann`t see that printer.

Thanks

Hi Pam, if you have the cd, you can install the printer driver off the cd or go to www.canon.com and search for a driver for your printer.

All my printers (both local and network) disappeared and
when I try to add a printer I get the message "Operation
could not be completed"

Your Print Spooler appears to have stopped.
