Winrar is a archiving application not unlike Winzip. When you downloaded Vista it came as an .ISO file. WinRAR handles ISO files by default unless you tell it not to therefore your download will be a WinRAR ISO file. Burn the ISO to a DVD then install it from the DVD. Jonah | Guest
