Default Installing Vista [Hard Drive]

First of all, I am using VMWare which must be a source of the problem, but I
was wondering if anyone can help.

I go to install Vista, I enter code, I format my partion which vista picsk
up fine (its a virtual hard disk in VMware but ive never had problems
installing XP, server 2003 and linux on VMware)

I then select the partion after formatting and it goes on to the next screen
and erros saying "windows cannot find a ahrd drive sutible to put tempory
files" of something along those lines. Anyone no a solution to this?

Thanks
Chris

Hi,

You might want to read the suggestions here on VMWare's forum:

Default RE: Installing Vista [Hard Drive]

I had a similar problem and tried lots of things to get around it. I had
given up then stumbled across a site saying that Vista likes a minimum of
20Gig hard disk so created the machine with vhd of 20Gb instead of the
default 16Gb and it worked first time. Don't know whether it was a fluke but
at least Vista is now running.
