Intellimouse Explorer v4 Tilt BUG confirmation request

I've noticed the following issue using Intellimouse Explorer (wired)
version 4 with latest Intellipoint 5.0 (December 2003 build) with
Windows XP / Pro / SP1 + all hotfixes.

Open an app window with horizontal scroll bars (ie, Intellipoint
control panel / test scroll speed)
Hold mouse in your head with led beam on the air, not targeting
anything
Wait a few seconds to stop target seeking
Press tilt right and left and hold it in these positions for some secs
After some (2-3) tries, tilt stays always on (to right) not allowing
horizontal or vertical scroll anymore, in any application.
Only a system reboot, resets this.

Don't know why but it doesn't happen when mouse is in its normal
position, laying on its mat. Anyway it's still a bug if confirmed.
Btw i've tried three mice on different machines with same results.

Could you please try that yourself and confirm this issue ?
