I had this same problem with my Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse 4000 on Vista
Ultimate x64. It finally allowed me to use all the buttons, but the
scrolling was horrible no matter what setting I chose. I finally uninstalled
it and now at least scrolling works as it should.

I'm having a somewhat similar issue. In Microsoft Money 2007, frequently the
wheel is ignored on certain screens or reports, and it takes a reboot to get
it to work...for a little bit.

Also, I find that I have to click and then move the mouse a bit for IE to
react to a click. If I click without moving, often nothing happens and I
have to click again. I'm pretty sure this isn't me.

I've got the wireless laser mouse 6000 on vista ultimate with the released
version of intellipoint and intellitype.
