Intellipoint Install Trouble

In trying to install Intellipoint 5.0, the set-up reports
(accurately) that I have a prior version and asks if I
want to delete it. I respond 'ok' and then the following
message appears: "Uninstal.dll could not load" followed
by another message "Error number 0x80040702 Failed to
load dll:Uninstal Setup will now erminate". This process
happens 2 or 3 times again before set-up finally quits.

Any suggestions on how to get by this issue would be most
appreciated.
