It sounds like you may need java, go to http://www.java.com/en/index.jsp andselect the free download.

Internet Access
When a program other than Internet Explorer or Outlook Express tries to access the internet the computer freezes. I had to go into safe mode and stop all programs that normally accessed the internet (AOL Instant Messenger/MSN Messenger) just to get my computer to work normally. I tried it with the firewall disabled but still was unsuccessful. Any advice would be appreciated.

I use a Netgear wireless adapter with broadband connection to surf the internet. My internet explorer browser went off the moment I try to enter a website. Can someone tell me why. Thanks in advance.
