Internet connection firewall on Windows XP

Posted: 08-22-2003, 01:16 AM
I am having problems with getting frequent pop-up messages
despite having my internet connection firewall enabled on
Windows XP Home Edition. I verified that the connection
was not secure by running a symantec security ckecker.
This found vulnerabilities at my Port and Plug n'Play
regions.
Does anyone know what I can do to the advanced settings
to secure my internet connection? Do I need to
download/purchase an internet fireall?
