internet connections

someone please help!!! over a month ago my msn explorer
refuses to sign me in..it says server is busy or either i
need to adjust my internet connections. i havent changed
them. at the same time, my windows update will not work
anylonger, it say that installation is incomplete, and i
tried to contact hp support and then the email wont go
through, it says that it doesnt detect an internet
connection. i know all of this started about the same
time, but have no clue as to what it could be..i know i
am connected to the internet, i can send email other
ways...any one have any ideas?

Internet connections

After updating XP via the Windows Update site, I found
that my internet connections had been deleted. When I
try to add a new connection I get: -

Error 711: A configuration error on this computer is
preventing this connection.

The solution to this particular problem involves starting
the Remote Access Connection Manager, however I am then
faced with the following error: -

Error 5: Access denied.

What am I supposed to do??!!

This issue may occur if the following services are disabled:

Telephony
Remote Access Connection Manager
Remote Access Auto Connection Manager

Cannot Load Remote Access Service Connection Manager" Error Message When You
Create Network Connection

I get the 'Error 5: Access denied" when I try to enable
the services that you suggest - that is my main problem.

Any ideas?..
