IPC$ share

Posted: 08-01-2003, 08:35 AM
I have a client with 2 PCs one Windows 98 and one Windows
XP Pro. When the 98 PC tries to access the XP Pro PC it
comes up asking for the IPC$ password. The XP PC can
browes to itself and see everything including shares on
the 98 PC. The XP pc is also setup for internet sharing
and this works fine. Tested with another 98 PC and it
had the same issues. The login id on the 98 PC is also
in the XP user list. Does anybody have any ideas on this
issue?
