ipod upgrade messed up my drives

Posted: 10-29-2007, 02:58 AM
I just got an ipod nano and it was working beautifully. When I last logged
on to my computer I had a message that there was a new upgrade so I installed
it. Now my entire drive is not recognized by Windows and I can't even use my
ipod. Can someone help me with this?

Thanks!

What do you mean your entire drive is not recognised ? Your iPod, your c:\
drive ??? Be more explicit.

If its simply a question of your iPod, then roll back to just before you
installed the update using System Restore.

Or re-post with more info.

Cheers,
Jerry

Mine did the same thing, and If I am reading this right you mean the whole
ipod system not just on the pc end, mine wont even come on now after the
upgrade, it just flashes like it's possessed when hooking it up to the pc. It
will however come on hooked to the electric power beside my bed but not on
its own via battery or pc now. Screw modern technology its too expensive to
mess with!

I've had same problem numerous times. Try going to Start, Search and type
E:\ drive into the search bar. The lights on your ipod should light up
again and show up in computer and iTunes.
