ipv6 connection firewall

HI all,
when trying to start the ipv6 connection firewall service I
get the error message:

[Services
Windows could not start the IPv6 Internet Connection
Firewall on Local Computer. For more information, review
the System Event Log. If this is a non-Microsoft service,
contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specific
error code -2147014849.]

now I want to know how to fix this... or is it possible
that a program could make the service fail?
I foundsome info on a web site that says that there are
scripts that allow's changes to the security settings using
"netsh"...
but the syntax is not defined there....
anyone knows where to look?

please help me....
