IPV6 support for CIFS in xp/windows 2003

do windows XP/2003 support IPV6 for CIFS?
and what is the proper way to connect a machine with ipv6 address? as of now
im able to connect only with net bios name [in run] for vista but not with ip
address eg.//2222::100:20.
