Is it possible to change Vista OS Boot order remotely and / or from XP?

Posted: 10-15-2006, 08:52 AM
Title says it all really - I've got a dual boot PC with Vista Beta 2 and XP
SP2, I can change the OS boot order from within Vista to default to
"Previous version of windows" and it then after a reboot starts XP but then
how do I remotely (PC is in basement actually!!) change it back to start
Vista - In the old days I would have been able to change the boot.ini
remotely without any trouble...

Or if it starts with Vista then is there an option to boot into Previous OS
only on next reboot but then revert back to Vista? Kinda like the "Run once"
key.

Cheers Martin
