Is the data encrypted?

I want to use XP remote desktop for
accounting between home and office.
Then is the communication in-between
encrypted?
Sorry, I'm a quite beginner in XP.

This is an excellent question, and I thought it would be easy to provide an
answer--just search in Help and Support.

Well--there's lots of information about encryption in H&S, and lots about
Remote Desktop, but near as I can tell, the word encryption is NEVER
mentioned in the Remote Desktop information.

Is there an alias for requested fixes for Help and Support.

Of course, if we go to MSDN, where there's technical information meant
primarily for developers, the FIRST thing that they mention about the Remote
Desktop Protocol is encryption.

Yes. It is encrypted, from before you enter your logon credentials. By
default, between XP machines, RC4 with a 128 bit key.

I checked the site and understood.
