ISATAP for VISTA

We have an IPv4 network on several sites, each having its own IPv
subnet. We have set up a ISATAP "advertising router" on an old X
machine. XP machines pick up from that for their Automatic Tunnelin
Pseudo Interface IPv6 addresses of the for
2001:db8:0:10:0:5efe:192.168.X.Y where X identifies the site and Y th
machin
A first problem is that Vista machines do not pick up addresses of tha
form (not visible in ipconfig /all) nor can they be pinged using them
Any suggestion as to why the Vista machines are not setting up thes
ISATAP addresses
Ping works between XP machines between on the same site and from th
site with the ISATAP server to another site but not in the revers
direction. The latter is curious because as I understand it once th
advertising router has given a workstation the prefix for the IPv
tunneling address the router plays no further part - any actual packet
sent are IPv4 ones encapsultaing the IPv6 packet and so are route
between sites using the IPv4 infrastucture
Many thank
