iTunes for Windows Error Installing

Posted: 10-18-2003, 03:39 AM
Hello,

I am trying to install the new iTunes for Windows on a XP Pro machine
and when I install it I receive an error message.

The message says "Error 1722. There is a problem with this Windows
Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish
as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."

Has anyone else encountered this error message?

Thanks,
Bill

If you have QuickTime installed, try uninstalling it and then installing
iTunes.

If that doesn't work or if you don't have QuickTime installed, try the
iTunes discussion board at <http://discussions.info.apple.com/>.
