itunes freeze on startup please help

worked fine. I got a new ipod a few months ago so i updated to itunes 7
and it still worked perfectly fine. About a week ago i tried to run
itunes, and after a few seconds it froze up. Under the task manager it
was not responding. It always works for a few seconds when i load it up
but then freezes. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in
advance
