After a lot of use (and perhaps some misuse) the iTunes database seems
to be messed up somehow -- tunes get "dropped" even though they are
obviously still in the music folder, or they lose their names, and
revert to "Track 1", "Track 2" and so on..

Is there any way to rebuild the database from the contents of the music
folder? Anything short of reintroducing all the songs, that is.
