Yup

If you're talking about Java, that most people use, get Java 6,

Uninstall any other Java you have first, if any.
Then grab it here, it's 1/2 down the page, Java Runtime Enviroment.

It's designed to help your specific issue.

Awesome, is that the final version of Version 6? I'm JDK'in it up in here.

It's final now,
no longer in their "Early Access" downloads-where they put all their public
beta stuff.

P.S. they're working on Java 7 already-chk it out- Next Release/Early Access
