Joining Domain; Peer Limit

Windows XP Pro will join a domain. XP Home will not. Which versions of Vista
will not join a domain?

XP Pro has a limit of 10 peer computers to which it can connect. What are the
limits for the various versions of Vista?

Domain Joining is a function of the following editions of Windows Vista
Vista Business
Vista Enterprise
Vista Ultimate

The 10 connection limits remains the same in all editions of Windows Vista

Vista Home Basic or Premium will not join a domain. Vista Business,
Ultimate, or Enterprise will.

I don't know of any documentation on this, but I understand the limits to be
similar as to Home versus Office versions.

It's essentially the same as it was in XP. Vista Home (whether Home
Basic or Home Premium) can not join a domain.

Again, it's the same in Vista as it was in XP--ten connections. But
note that in both XP and Vista, the limit is ten connections (of all
types), not ten computers.
