JPG files can't have a password on them.

and the computer that I am currently working on has
31 .jpg files on it. I have tried to double clicked,
right click & open, I have tried to move, copy, and
delete these files. I can do nothing with them because
they request a password. All other jpg files are working
properly. The files in question are labeled pic001.jpg
through pic031.jpg. Any ideas???

Can you open other files from this same folder? Maybe this folder contains
only these files, if so,
I would right click on the folder name, click on properties and then sharing
tab. See what you have there
