It runs very smoothly, and another thing that is great about it is tha
it detects multiple processors unlike some versions of it
predecessor. Overall my system is running very stable... here is
screenshot of the performance

And ... you are posting to a Vista newsgroup not a Windows 7 one.

For future reference the support newsgroups for the Windows 7 Beta are
offered under the TechNet forums at
http://social.technet.microsoft.com/...egory/w7itpro/

Posts about Windows 7 to any of the microsoft.public.windows.vista.*
newsgroups are off topic.

I apologize. I did not think that it would be off topic since Windows
is more like an updated version of Vista instead of a new OS. Honestl
though, can you please give a logical explanation as to why it is such
forbidden thing to mention Windows 7 in a Vista forum? I mean, it is th
latest release from Microsoft and I feel it should be discussed here.
honestly do not see any negative effects that this post might have had
I understand that there may be rules, but there should be exceptions fo
topics like these. Just my 2 cents. Carry on

Ignore the self appointed net cops who ride around here on the high
moral horses. Of course Win 7 is on topic as is Linux. This is Vista
General, not Only Vista.

Firstly it's a BETA release, secondly as is, this is a group for the
support of Vista, not Windows 7, and thirdly there are web forums for
discussing Windows 7.

As much as I respect your enthusiasm for FOSS, I really think that you
shoot yourself in the foot a lot of the time. How is Linux (and I use it
as well as Windows) on topic in a VISTA newsgroup? Please explain.

It's a viable alternative to Vista, of course! In these economic times,
people need to know about cheaper alternatives to the hardware hungry Vista.

You just can't afford Vista and you can't figure out how to pirate it. You
indicated so yourself 2 years ago.
