How did you delete Win98 ? By formatting or simply by erasing the Windows
folder ?

If the former - you're knackered ! You should have backed them up before
formating.
Back to the downloads ....;-)

If the latter, do a search using *.mp3 and see what turns up. Alternatively
you could look for your music
directory in Windows Explorer.

BTW, its actually better to clean install Windows XP, rather than having
bits and pieces from other
systems hanging around.
