Actually, this camera is PTP and is supported on XP. The dock however
requires Kodak's latest XP drivers.
I'd recommend you first un-install every instance of the device from XP
including all Kodak software. After you've done this, reboot your computer.
Now, with nothing of Kodak's stuff installed, if you just plugged the camera
into your computer, you will see the DX 3700 woks fine. (It shows up in the
Scanner and Camera Wizard, etc.)
Now you would want to install the latest Kodak software for the docking
unit. Depending on who's PTP driver you want to use (XPs by default, or
Kodak's which you need to install yourself), I think the dock should work
with either.
