L2 cache Configuration

Posted: 08-09-2008, 05:52 PM

Intel Core 2 Quad Processor Q6600 (8MB L2 cache,2.4GHz,1066FSB)
Operating System - Genuine Windows Vista Home Premium SP 1

via regedit...looking at the registry key where Vista stores the size
of the L2 cache:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Session Manager\
Memory Management\SecondLevelDataCache

it has a value of 0

How do I go about either checking to see that L2 cache is configured
correctly or the steps needed to get it that way?

Thanks.
