Default LAN Manager Security setting in Vista Home Premium

I have Vista Home Premium and need to change one of the LAN Manager
security settings to enable my X-Box Media Center to access shares on
my Vista machine. I understand that I don't have secpol or gpedit, but
I also understand that those apps just alter registry settings. Can
someone here help me with what I need to tweak in the registry to do
the following?

In "Network Security: LAN Manager" authentication level, change the
Setting from "Send NTLMv2 response only" to "Send LM & NTLM -- use
NTLMv2 session security if negotiated."

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Sean

Default Re: LAN Manager Security setting in Vista Home Premium

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\LSA\

Change the key LmCompatibilityLevel from "3" to "1".
