Hi all.I'm a newbie and not a great wizz with pc's so please bear with me and i will need detailed info on anything i need to do thanks.Right i'm running vista and it has crashed, can't boot it up at all, i ran the repair disc that it said to do and it wont repair, says it can't. we had a fiddle with the other choices on the disc and it had a report that says the registry was corrupt.I'm not bothered about it being restored back to factory settings BUT i need my photos off first, we've just had a baby and all the pics of the baby and my other little one are on there still, over 1000 so you can see how desperate i am.I have 2 disks, one which will restore back to factory settings and warns me it will wipe everything on pc and another that i can install windows from. If i install windows will it wipe my pictures out while installing or not?Please please any help you can offer would be much appreciated, i do have it booked in with pc world on 15 mar but someone said be carefull cause they will just wipe everything!!!Thanks allNicky
