Laptop Shutdown

When i turn my laptop off (using power button on laptop), instead of shutting
down it just restarts. I have to hold in the power button to turn off my
laptop and i know that isn't good. What's wrong?

Tom

Open Control Panel / Power Options. In the plan you have selected, click the
'Change plan settings' link. On the next dialog box, click 'Change advanced
power settings'.

Expand the 'Power buttons and lid' options. Expand 'Power button action'.
Click on the option at the right of 'Settings'. You should have 3 options
available there, select the 'Shutdown' option. Apply/OK.
