AOL browser and launch Internet Explorer, then visit the Windows
Update web site while using Internet Explorer.
Try the following solution from the Windows Update Troubleshooter:
http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/troubleshoot/
Select:
"Problem Downloading/Installing a Software (Non-Driver) item"
Follow steps under:
"Install stops at 0% when using the AOL Browser"
While using the Internet Explorer browser, try downloading
the updates again: http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp
P.S. Make sure to disable your antivirus program and close any
open programs before installing updates.

| I woke up early this morning and turned on my computer.
| Got the Latest Updates Ready To Install message.
| I Installed them and restarted my computer.
| After I did, every program I opened, the scroll bar would
| jump insanely.
| It is extraordinarily difficult to read a webpage, let
| alone click on links to check for more info.
| I tried using System restore, to reset my computer back a
| week before the updates.
| No effect.
| I tried downloading the latest blaster worm patch from
| the microsoft site, but when I finished I got a
| Cryptographic error message (which I see many others are
| getting also)
| Anybody have any suggestions?
| I would be greatly appreciative.
