| Hello I read many threads without finding a valuable answer to the followin question -Is it possible to launch UAC restricted programs at startup *from limited account* using the scheduler ? On my computer, I have one adminstrator account and three limite accounts. I need to launch a program at startup which require administrative privileges I have created a task -*beginning at log on*- for -*any user*-. Th -*administrative user account*- is used to run the task *-when it i logged on-*. The "Run with highest privileges" is selected When I log on the administrative user account, it is working very wel : the task is started and the program is launched as it is supposed to Perfect ! However, on the limited accounts it does not work. Accordin to the log file, it seems the task is started but the program can't b launched So I decided to change the task security options so that the task coul be run -*whether the administrative user is logged on or not*- Well, whether I logged on the administrative user account or on th limited ones, nothing happened I am stuck there and I don't know what to do next. Maybe someone coul help Thanks Cyrill -- crustom | Guest

| Hello Thank you for your suggestion. In fact, if you go back to my origina post, I wrote that, as a second try, I selected "*Run whether user i logged on or not*". Surprisingly, nothing worked anymore, whether logged on the administrator account or on limited accounts. I ca confirm everything was working very well on the administrator accoun when "*Run when it is logged on*" was selected The main question is therefore : Why is it that changing from "*Ru when it is logged on*" to "*Run whether user is logged on or not* prevents the task from being launched as it should ? Is there som security permissions somewhere to be set Cyrill -- crustom | Guest
