Launching app with networked file from another computer

another computer on the network. I want to launch Quicken
from more than one computer but have all systems use the
same account (.qdf file) I have tried opening and closing
the application and can navigate to the correct file, open
it and work with it but I want to make sure the app always
launches with the same file. Is there a way to type the
correct file info into the target file field under
properties for the desktop Icon I have created to launch
the app?
