Lexmark E330 PCL Emul Paper Setting

Posted: 10-14-2005, 04:20 PM
We print on A4 sheets using PCL Emul mode.

The Lexmark utility for changing the printer settings gives me the
option of specifying a paper width of 198 or 203mm. Neither of these
reflect the ACTUAL width of an A4 sheet (210mm).

While I can't be sure this is the exact cause, my printouts are missing
the last half centimetre (about 1/4 inch) on their right side!

Thus far, Lexmark's solutions have involved me resetting the
printer...but this doesn't appear to be a software bug or hardware
flaw. It looks like it's done by design!

I will try to create a custom form, but surely with A4 a world standard
paper size shouldn't need this flaffing. Any other suggestions?

Plastic Man.
