Re: Lexmark x125 problem under win XP

use the printer right after I installed the driver. When I turned off
the computer, the "Lexmark X125 setting" will abruptly end in seperate
window saying it is ending program. After I restarted the computer
again, the icon of the printer disappeared and there would be an error
message appreared frequently on the screen
Spooler Subsystem App has encountered a problem ....
All I could do to restore the system was to uninstall the driver! I
had used the driver for CJXP125LE.EXE but it just did not work. I sent
several message to the Lexmark support. They insisted my system does
not meet the minimum requirement which is
Windows XP
กค 300 MHz processor or Equivalent
กค 128 MB of Ram
กค 500 MB Hard Drive space
กค 300 MB Virtual Memory
They insist the only solution is to purchase more RAM for the system.
This is simply absurd. My machine is a lot better than this minimum
requirement printed on the retail box. This kind of support is worse
than none. I searched the lexmark x125 problem under win XP. It seems
that there has been a lot of posts regarding the issue since last
year. I have read these posts before I bought this printer, I will
never buy it. I would never buy a Lexmark Printer again.
Now I can only use the ALL-IN-ONE printer as a FAX machine and copier
but not as a printer. Is there anyone who can really help? Thanks in
advanced.
