Default linux woes and no boot disk for XP

I really hope that you can help me with this problem I am
having. It seems to
be a very unique problem judging by the fact that I have
been unable to find
any relative help anywhere on the internet.
I was running WinXP Pro when I got it in my head to delete
all partitions and
reformat in Ext3 and install Mandrake Linux 9.1 . Now, this
would normally
have been all well and fine except for the fact that I have
been dealing with
alot of problems under linux that I am not able to resolve. I
really, no
REALLY, want to switch back to WinXP. The problem is
that I do not have bios
that supports cdrom booting and the bootdisk that I have
will not allow me to
access the cdrom. I am stuck in linux.
I have downloaded vmware, wine, and Win4Lin but none
of them have solved the
problem of being able to create a bootdisk under linux.
Mandrake, and I
believe most linux distros now a days include some sort
of rawrite proggie to
make a linux boot disk but I have not been able to find a
similar tool for
the reverse situation.
If you can think of some sort of work around for this
problem I would be very
appreciative if you would share it with me. As I said, I
have been all over
the web looking for an answer.
I also have Win98SE WinME and Win2000 Advanced
Server discs. Somewhat of an OS
collector. Rather embarassing to be in this situation.

Thank you in advance,

Rick Barr

But you'll need a friend's computer to make the disks on.
