LNK files state error but continue

Hi,

Some of my computers are displaying some strange sytoms and I was hoping some of you would offer a solution.

When I click on a network link from Network Places I get a error message saying the link is invalid, but when I click okay to continue, the link continues and works fine. This happens everytime on some computers.

Frustrating!!
