| Hello, I added a second hard drive on my dell 8300 computer and I have XP Home edition, I wanted to change a partition on it so I went start, control panel, performance/maint. then clicked on, admin tools then on compuetr mangement and finally clicked on disk management, I the recieved an error code of 1053 saying "the service did not respond to the start in a timely fashion" so then I opened up services and checked to see if Local Disk Manager was running and it was so i clicked on local disk manager administrative services and clicked start then I get this "Could not start the local disk manager service on local computer Error 1053: the service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion" what is going on?? can anyone please help????? | Guest
