| For some reason Vista locked all of my accounts including the local admin. I have had this happen to me be for but can’t figure out why it is doing this to me. It doesn’t happen often about once a week or so but any help on why this might be happening would be nice. | Guest

| I just purchased Vista Business and set up two users with passwords. I then transferred files from my desktop machine to the new laptop. Apparently everything transferred fine. However, when I went to reboot and was asked for a password, none of the passwords I set up worked. And... somewhere I missed the instruction to build a revert password disc or whatever that is. Where do I go from here? Can I get in my machine? | Guest

| Try booting in safe mode, by tapping the F8 key until the safe mode window opens. Safe mode should be highlighted, hit return, If successful, then on the start-run line, Type: control userpasswords2 and hit return. Un-check Users must supply a name and password to use this computer. Follow any screen prompts. -- Jerry One thing money can't buy, The wagging tail of a dog.
