| I have a new 2003 server/domain with a bunch of existing 2000 workstations. I've created new accounts under 2003 for my users, added their computers to the new domain, and everything works fine. So we get in some new computers with XP. Computer 'A' gets configured and then a new account was created for the user getting that computer (user1). We started having problems with the new account getting locked out of the domain. But the user1 acct is only trying to login once (lockout occurs after 5 attempts). Note that neither the user account nor the computer has been given to the user yet. The Admin had not released these. I don't see anything in the event logs indicating that there had been 5 attempts to log in. So we took out Computer 'B', configured it, set it up for user1 and it worked fine. Gave it to user1. We set up Computer 'A' for user2. When we got that computer on line again user1's acct got locked out. And this happened twice more. Again, I can't find any hints in the event log. The computer name is unique. Any ideas? | Guest

| I have been looking at the server's event log. Their are no Failure Audits in the Security Log for this user. "Kel" wrote: Quote:
