Logical drives

I'm unable to create logical drives in Vista RC1, does anyone know how?
There seems to be no provision for logical drives in disk manager.

Do you have empty space on an existing physical drive to create a logical
drive?

I have over 70 gig of unallocated space.
I cannot find any reference to extended partitions or logical drives
I can create multiple primary partitions but not logical drives in an
extended partition.

I don't have RC1 yet, but if you right click on the free space and choose
new partition, when you get the Partition Wizard, you should be offered a
choice of Primary or extended partition. When you have created the extended
partition you go back and create your logical drive.
