Login/Shutdown Interfaced Changed Unexpectedly

Posted: 01-03-2004, 04:11 PM
Happy new year!

My login and shutdown look (interface) somehow changed to
a Windows 2000 look. The colors are still XP colors but the
interface changed.

For login I get a boxed window (with a field for a password
eventhough I do not have a password yet). I no longer get the
little chess icon.

For shutdown, I get a pull down menu to select from. I no
longer get the three icons for shutdown, restart, and standby.

Everything else is the same. The *ONLY* recent changes I made
was for adding new network services. But I deleted the new
additions and I am only left with "Client for MS Network",
"File and Printer Sharing", "QoS Packet Scheduler" and
"TCP/IP Protocol."

Any suggestions on how to revert?

Regards,
Ideen
