See "How to Configure Windows XP to Automatically Log On a User
Account" (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=282866).

Hi Vicki,
Go to start > run and enter control userpasswords2
When the user accounts window opens uncheck 'users must enter a username and
password to use this computer'. Click apply, you will then be asked for the
user and password of the account you wish to auto logon with. With Outlook
you should probably be able to check a box which says remember this
password. What are you entering a password to gain access to, your email
server or your pst store?

1. Go to Start/Run and type in: control userpasswords2 and press ok.

2. On the Users tab, clear the Users Must Enter A User Name And Password To
Use This Computer check box and then click OK.

3. In the Automatically Log On dialog box that appears, type the user name
and password for the account you want to be logged on each time you start
your computer.

Every time that i start up my windows xp laptop, i go to
the novell log on screen, because i have novell installed
on my pc. And the user name always says Administrator. My
first question is how to change this so it always
says "Danny" my username in the workstation. And when i
log in, i get a message that says that a controller for
the specific domain can not be found, so i always also
have to go to advanced and click domain and change it to
zeledann, the name of my computer. My second question is
how to change the default domain or delete the one that
doesn't work.
