logon password

Default logon password

my pc was accidently shutdown and upon restart it asked for my logon password
which i entered as per usual. however it keeps on saying incorrect username
or password entered. can i logon without it and how please????????/

No - you set this password - ensure you are typing it correctly and that a
CAPS Lock key is not on etc.

We have just encountered the same problem on my husband's PC. The password is
the one that we have used for Vista since first activating it on buying the
PC at the beginning of this year. It has not been changed and has been
working just fine, but this afternoon Vista has rejected it as invalid.

Luckily, I have my own PC so I can post this problem on the forum! From what
I have read, the only solution seems to be to reinstall Vista and to set up
multiple accounts so that you can be guaranteed to have at least one that
works.

It happen to me as well. I don't know what to do...
