the message size; in reply to my own query, it was mentioned on one NG that
anything over 4 kb is suspect.

There have been a rash of 13-15 kb posts, not with MS as the sender, whichcould be script files (?) for unleashing Heaven knows what. The subject
lines go something like, "Try this juicy morsel", something that looks
unrelated to computers, yet interesting. As I said originally, start
looking at the message SIZE. Until there is some kind of confirmation that
these things are safe, it's best to not open.
